For the second time, S.T. Dupont and Fender collaborate, imagining a rock line inspired by the know-how of both houses, as well as from Japan.

This Japanese method of repairing porcelains fills the broken pieces using lacquer sprinkled with gold. It is also a philosophy that recommends accepting and valuing one’s flaws, cracks, rather than concealing them. A powerful, solid and aesthetically pleasing mindset, close to the values of S.T. Dupont, but also to one of its old-fashioned know-how: gold dust applied by hand.

The goldsmith know-how S.T. Dupont is in tune with this collection and writes a new score. The famous Ligne 2 and Line D Eternity thus take over the body, strings and neck of guitars. Audacity even pushes the staple of the writing instrument to become the head of the instrument. A new guilloche depicting the cracks of the kintsugi also dresses the lighter’s cap.
